Island of Akal

The Island of Akal is located between the Midlands and the Southlands, just east of The Great Seal. No ship is able to traverse the magical storms even though it is so close to the mainland. Only Renatt Akal, a mage of unknown origin, has succeeded in arriving at the island, though many have tried, due to the Dragon Tower located in the center of the island. It is both believed and doubted by the Orders of the Sphere in the Grand Republic that the Tower is unsealed, only Master Akal knows for sure.
