Essanti

The Essanti, a mid-race, are a very tall and charismatic species. They have various colors of skin in hues of blue, green, violet, and red. The Essanti age three times slower then a human, often reaching an age just over Three Hundred. As such a long-lived race the Essanti are the race most in tune with the spheres powers. They were the first race chosen by the High Dragons to rule over the other races, including the Vork and the Humans . As time went by their arrogance grew and they eventually challenged the High Dragons, which began the Second Awakening. The Essanti were decimated, before the Vork lept to their master’s defense. Once the High Dragons slumbered once more the Vork turned on their masters pushing them into the forest of Enilaar, known as the Great Betrayal. It is there where the last of the Essanti still reside, still arrogant, still magically powerful, still patiently waiting for their time to come again.
