The Heroes of the New Life Festival are granted a feast for winning the games a 2nd year in a row, and it doesn't go as planned.

For winning the New Life Festival for a 2nd year in a row, the The Heroes were granted a feast with all of the Royals of Larissia. At the feast an assassination attempt on all of the Royals and the party was made. Jerrik was able to save King Edgar Valdois, but Lord Raja Dronorim and Lady Sara Helder-Kane met their untimely demise. The party thought Welluby Jones was responsible for the attempt due to his suspicious behavior prior to the feast, but he was deemed innocent when the king's chef was found rotting in the pantry and a ring of Lucious was found on the body of the man impersonating the chef.
