Long ago, Lykos , the god of nature and the natural world, along with help from other deities, created the world of Larissia. Mortals were chosen from the world before (some call it Faerun), and instructed to spread and make the new lands their own. The god Aelar chose Reynard Valdois, one of the founders, became High-King of Larissia. From there, High-King Reynard Valdois appointed four kings (who then established lords) to help explore, settle, and protect the inhabitants of the different regions of the vast new world. Among the four appointed kings was King Tamen Helder-Kane, who founded Northwatch in the region known as Hransfall in the North East with the help of the Dwarves and Goliaths. King Ezer Dronorim, a High-Elf mage, reigned over the North Eastern region of Ascalon from his throne in Aleridge.
