This city could use a good blood bath. The common folk should be grateful for my lack of inclination to do so.The ruler of Ald Alamek isn't considered the ruler, more a distant figure in a fortified world of his own. When calm he simply ignores the people and tries to gain favour with the nobles of the Renyan Unitary then if he becomes stressed he will tell people to leave his presence until he has calmed down. The only moment the people worry about is when he is afraid and he orders the Bal Kaeren to go out and arrest those he thinks are traitors or conspirators. He spends his time inside his ancestral home of Al Hebkan (Orange Keep), which is known for the orange tint the palisades guarding it have taken on. He is slightly ashamed of this place and the name and works towards changing it.

Motivation
He plans to become more engrained in the court and to retain a good position but in a more favourable city. He does this by entertaining other nobles in his court and also diplomats while letting the criminal elements keep order in the street. He hopes to have improved his hilltop fortification from wooden palisades to stone walls within the next five years as he doesn't trust the city not to rebel.
