Identifying Characteristics

Venn is pretty but in a nondescript way. She doesn't make a huge first impression, but she grows on you. She can pass fairly unnoticed through a crowd and happily does so.

Specialized Equipment

Venn has a custom made suit of full plate armour that is lighter and more mobile than the average fare without sacrificing defensive strength. It was expensive to commission, and anyone who knows even a little about armour will be able to tell that from just looking. It is very well cared for and clearly only comes out for special occasions.

Personal history

When asked, Venn will say she grew up on a farm, and learned to fight as a teenager with an aunt. She left home to study at the University of Oghma and at some point left and joined The Black Pillar, under the apparent impression that she'd at least get to travel. She climbed the ranks at the Pillar fairly swiftly, though was disappointed by how the peacekeeping seemed to amount to smashing drunken idiots' skulls for a prosaic fee, and all centred around the same few streets in the same boring grey city.

Venn is confused and mildly disturbed by all things sexual, but is not asexual. She would probably think she was asexual, if she knew anything about sex.

Venn is naturally inquisitive and always eager to learn. When she's not training her body she's expanding her mind, and is a strong phsyical problem solver, if not one for big picture thinking. She is easily fascinated by the arcane as well as anything she deems new or foreign. She very rarely plans more than a few weeks in advance.

Venn is lawful good, in the classical sense. She holds strong morals to herself, but doesn't hold others to them as strictly. Her morality is not rigid, she can be persuaded both by herself and others, but there are lines she will not cross.

Venn is, on the surface, the happy go lucky type. She loves to fighting, feasting and friends, and she will dance and sing if the situation seems to call for it quite happily. In her quieter moments she can be found with her nose stuffed in a book, avidly consuming new information with the same voracity with which she consumes potatoes after a satisfying fight. Games, puzzles, cardigans, swords, her interests are varied, which is useful because it can take a lot to distract herself from the elephants that keep piling up in the room, metaphorically speaking.

Venn is a goody two shoes, but she doesn't hold everyone to the same standard she holds herself. She can get a tad preachy if she's not careful which often serves to highlight her own moral blindspots.

Vices & Personality flaws

Quick to trust, and slow to suspect, Venn is easily duped by those with whom she is enamoured or admires. She's also goal oriented (ie jumping off a great big fucking ship to go stab a guy) and doesn't always consider consequences as far as she should. She can be reckless with her own safety, though not with others', and impulsive at times, saying or doing things without thinking them through, but her heart is always in the right place even if her foot is lodged squarely in her mouth.
