Range (System)
The Range System is an additional system used to control and balance Attack Ranges in combat.
Each Action in a fight has its own range. The range determines whether participants are targetable. This is true if a participant is within the range of an action. Participants out of vision cannot be active targets.
Melee Attacks usually have a range of 5 ft. Ranged and Magical Attacks usually have a range of 30-75 ft. Range is a fixed stat for each action individually. If an effect of Range Increase or Range Decrease applies to one participant, every Action Range of that participant is affected. An Action Range cannot decrease to 0 ft.
