(The eleventh Jape/Jest is that there is no eleventh Jape/Jest) The series is a group of comedic story's and events shambled together into one beautiful mess of irony and meta humor. For most kids the humor will go right over their head but they enjoy the pretty pictures and general weirdness. Most adults love it for the insanely complicated humor which both confuses and delights.

Purpose

The Eleven Jests and Japes of Luchius D. Lenesto were created by the twisted mind of Luchius D. Lenesto to fuel his morbid curiosity on how far he could push the boundaries of humor and what was considered socially acceptable in a book. Turns out he didn't push it far enough since the book became a cultural icon, something he still regrets today.
