The ancestor stone gleams with an orange sheen, as you look into its heart you see your ancestors looking back at you, this is the power of the artifact known as the ancestor stone. The ancestor stone was one of the inventions discovered after the crashing of The Skyrider, discovered by Nelleidis, Ēlvîsjàxün, and Haitan. When they were splitting the bounties of the crashed ship Haitan only wished to learn from the secrets of the ancestor stone, he took the gem and went off back to his village to study it, when he died the stone ended up in the hands of a group of thieves, who then sold it to a wealthy Dwarven man named Gorwin Doriis. Gorwin decided to name the ancestor stone the Doral stone, after himself of course. The stone is very valuable as its the only one of its kind, with the power to allow one to see scenes from the lives of their ancient ancestors.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The doral stone works off very powerful divination magic enchanting the heart of the gem, a shining orange garnet. Since the divination magic is of tremendous power and is very material intensive, the stone only has eight uses before it must be recharged with Masalik energy. The energy activates the great magic within the gem and allows its power to be used.

Significance

The stone was created for the personal purposes of a Dragon born wizard seeking to learn about their ancient ancestors, while they never wanted anybody to take the stone. it got stolen anyways and ended up on the Skyrider.
