Triton's Echo
Backstory
Located on the edge of the village, near the sea, the tavern has its roots in two intertwined stories. It was originally the home of a retired ship captain named Lorian. After decades sailing the seven seas, he decided to settle in the village, building a sturdy cabin near a decommissioned lighthouse. Over the years, Captain Lorian, with his fascinating stories and captivating personality, attracted many fishermen and villagers to his residence. People came from afar to hear his stories and to gaze at the sea from the top of the lighthouse. Seeing an opportunity, Lorian decided to expand his cabin, using parts of the abandoned lighthouse. Thus, the tavern was born, a place that blends the nostalgia of an old lighthouse with the warmth of a captain’s cabin.Decorations
- Rustic Nautical Style. The tavern displays a design that combines the rustic charm of a wooden cabin with the nautical theme of an old lighthouse and captain’s house.
- Nautical Maps and Engravings. The walls are adorned with ancient maps, some showing sea routes and others possibly indicating hidden treasure locations. Engravings of marine creatures, ships, and storms are also featured.
- Lighthouse Lamps. Instead of traditional torches or lamps, the tavern uses old lighthouse lamps, which emit a soft, golden light, creating a cozy atmosphere.
- Interactive Decor. A large, interactive sea map where patrons can place markers to indicate recent sightings of mythical sea creatures or treacherous weather conditions.
- The Triton Lookout. At the highest part of the tavern, where the old lighthouse once stood, Eliana built a lookout. Decorated with sculptures and artifacts reminiscent of the triton who once visited, the lookout offers a panoramic view of the ocean and village. It is a place where visitors can feel the sea breeze, hear the roar of the waves, and reflect on the legends and stories of the village. On certain nights, it is said that the soft singing of a triton can be heard, reminding everyone of the magical connection between land and sea
