2024.01.31 - Chapter 1 - Session 3

General Summary

After fighting the Ettin Younglings, you heard stomping and roars coming towards your potition.  You decided to flee and tried to run away from the incoming beast. After a brief chase, the creature caught up with you and you decided to fight it off. With all your powers combined, and Davyeras turning herself into a T-Rex, you made quick work of the Ettin and killed the creature, finding some loot in the corpses that he was carrying around in his basket (most likely, adventurers that suffered a worse fate than yours). You pushed through while Davyeras was on T-Rex form, carrying all of you on top of her, with Brad running alongside.  Once the spell finished, you decided to make camp in a close by area and take a long rest. The night was going by, and the Night Guard went without interruptions, until a big storm broke, with very strong wings. You were forced to move away from where you were, and tried to continue and make it to Port Aboll.  After a brief talk with the Townsguard, you went to the Triton's Echo, the local Inn, where you were welcomed by Milo Lee, the bartender. You all went for a well deserved rest, booking some rooms to recover yourselves from the eventful trip, while Brad and Orc shared a drink. In the morning, you had breakfast and met Eliana Lorian , the owner of the stablishment, and shared some information with you about the local dissappearances. She recommended you to visit the local market as well, in case you wanted to gear up.  At the market , you split and went to do some shopping, each one of you getting something for yourselves, and Torgal getting a book about the Fauna in the Allurian Islands, to learn more about Cockatrices.

Notes

• You learnt that the survivor from the dissappearances saw some lights coming from the Forest, and that he saw Ghosts.
• Torgal learnt from a book about Fauna in the Allurian Islands that Cockatrices are fearsome enemies that can petrify creatures. They can also Fly.
• You learnt that the average of feathers that you get from a Cockatrice chick is 10, and from an adult one, 50. You need at least 30 feathers to make a Tattoo.
