Heliandor
The brightest star visible in the night sky. The stable position of Heliandor lies less than 1° away from the northern pole, making it useful for navigation on cloudless nights.
Heliander is one star within the constellation Alcyptra, and the star's name means "her gift", referring both to the Light Monarch's sacrifice and the creation of a North star reference point.
