Purespring Lake

Surrounded by the verdant Kryalon forests, Purespring lake sits in a neat clearing, filled with diverse wildflowers and herbs. Reflecting the perpetually clear sky, the lake's surface akin to a blue-tinted mirror. The refreshing water seems to have cleansing properties, and has a vague fresh taste. It seems any injuries have a shooting pain when exposed to the water, followed by the numbing of the injury. Moreover, the water seems to relieve fever, headaches, sore throat, but may cause stomach pains. Arcing downwards, the lake seems to sit in a spherical crater, the banks gradually inclined, but are non-uniform (the lake is not a perfect circle, but its very close). Fauna include freshwater fish, dragonflies, frogs and waterfowl. Tales suggest there may also be merfolk inhabiting the lake's floor. This lake's water became the common replacement after Demice Lake's water was phased out and since is imported to cities, and may be used for holy water. Purespring Lake's water is also potable, and was historically used by settlers for drinking.
