Creation of the World

This is the Dwagi story of how the world was created.

Summary

The world was formed when the Gods were born. It is unknown, or forgotten, how the Gods were birthed. The young Gods were left in a cold expanse, huddling together for warmth they began pulling in fragments in the area surrounding them. Eventually they became entombed beneath the crust of the world that formed around them. They grew and lived deep in the crust for millions of years. The undercrust was becoming overpopulated and many Gods were now adults. So they rose through the earth and broke through the crust, creating the mountains of the world. Because of this Volcanoes are said to birth new Gods, however no "new" Gods have risen for quite some time. Thus an eruption can spawn a new god.
