"Sasumi, Theandros bless her, just didn't have what it takes. Now Gorn, Gorn has what it takes." -Gorn

Fresh off his victory at Ai Ursa, Gorn marches his troops east to Katal'Kutak, arriving on the 13th of MInas. Inspired by a vision from St. Alaena, he orders his magisters to freeze over the mud, and his forces begin construction on siege engines.   Cult forces repeat their tactics from their battle with Yoto Sasumi, and attempt a flanking ambush on Gorn's men.   Gorn, however, was prepared for this, and had dug spike pits behind his forces. The pits took out a large number of the cultists, and the rest were easily dispatched by the Crucifer forces onces they were aware of the attempted ambush.   On the 15th of Minas, Gorn rolls out siege towers and trebuchets over the frozen mud. His siege engines break through the city walls by the end of day, and the crucifer forces easily take the city.   Gorn renames the city of Katal'Kutak to St. Alaena in honor of the vision that helped bring him victory.
