"The men wouldn't even fight. Cowards! And the women, gods, the women. We kept a few for ourselves, but they wouldn't cease their wailing. Their blood still cries out, a pleasing song to Marabal." -Anonymous, Against the Pagans, Presbyter Gaius Tuscany

The priests and ministers preach their religion to the cult at Mar'Ankar for many days. On the 29th of Makariou, Church leaders back on the mainland of Samayaris find several dismembered limbs washed ashore. Later that day, a scouting party reports back form Mar'Ankar that the city's walls are decorated with the bodies of Church priests and ministers.   Later reports from cultic journals and records depict a grisly scene: Having grown tired of their preaching, the cultists began to drag the priests and ministers to the center of town. One by one, they were executed. The cultists apparently attempted to get the men to fight, and the women to participate in all manner of sexual acts. The Church members would have none of it, and were butchered because of it.
