"A stern hand against the obstinate is as water on the lips of the beggar. Truly, a beating is more merciful to the hard of heart than soft words. And, truly, chains and shackles are more freedom for the rebellious than they themselves know." -Presbyter Gaius Tuscany, Striving for Salvation: Wise Words for the Church

News of the Church's control over Junna Landing quickly spreads. Cultists from Diashana and Megala travel to Junna Landing to protest. Protests quickly become violent, however. Cultists outside the city are quickly subdued, however, their shouts and chants spark more riots within the city.   Crucifers clash with rioters for three days. The prisons were full, and yet more rioters were being brought in. Finally, Alexander ordered room be made in the prisons by impaling the most serious offenders along the city walls. This quickly stopped the rioters.   Nearly one tenth of the city remained imprisoned. Instead of releasing prisoners, Alexander simply built a larger prison.
