Founding

Having driven the dragons into exile, Alexander Cruxan established the Order of Light to maintain peace and control over the land.   In 3e 1, the 1st of Theandrar, Alexander received a vision from the Valkyrie Archon, Alaena, that his wife, Liandra, would soon be with child. Alaena revealed to him that his child would spread the light of Theandros to all the nations, driving out evil and establishing peace, justice, and goodness in all the world.   On the 1st of Alaera, the vision became reality. Alexander named his daughter Alaena, and she grew to be both wise and strong. After Alexander passed in 3e 24, Alaena took control of the Order of LIght. She renamed the Order of Light to the Order of Crucifers, in honor of her Father. Alaena went on to establish several other orders, uniting them under one banner: the Church of the One. She formed the order of Priests, the Order of Ministers, and the Order of Eldars.   In 3e 77, 1st of Alaera, Alaena was taken into the Vault of Souls. Legend has it the Archon Aleana, who St. Alaena was named after, lead her into the presence of Theandros herself. St. Alaena was 75 when she passed away.
