"These were tough men and honorable warriors. With Dhas's forces behind us, however, they stood no chance." -Gorn

Church forces arrive at Ai Ursa on the 14th of Doxala lead by commander Gorn. With Dhas's forces now under his control, Gorn's army numbered over 29,000 men and women.   Gorn set up a siege around the city and ordered his men to begin construction on siege towers and trebuchet.   On the night of the 15th, Gorn sent a squad of Not-Seen into the city, hoping to replicate the tactics he had use previously at Sandesh.   On the morning of the 16th, however, the Not-Seen were spotted hanging from the city walls. They had been captured, and Gorn was sure that the same tactics would not work again.   The Church forces under Gorn surrounded the city, waiting them out for 94 days. Gorn had hoped that food would run out quickly, and low morale would force the city to surrender.   No such thing happened, however, and the city seemed to thrive as much as it ever had while under siege.   On the 19th of Magus, a scout reported seeing a cultist swimming in the bay next to Ai Ursa. Gorn's men discovered an unerwater tunnel system being used, in combination with magic, to smuggle goods into the city.   Gorn sent a contingent of Magisters and Not-Seen through the Tunnels and into the city.   On the morning of the 20th, a loud commotion was heard from inside the city. The group of Magisters and Not-Seen had been found, and were under attack. The entire group was killed, but not before one of the Magisters was able to blast open the gates from inside.   Gorn's forces charged the city. The cultists inside hid inside homes, in underground passageways, and in various other places, fighting the invading army with guerrilla tactics. The entire city became a war zone for six months.   Finally, on the 4th of Theandrar, 471 3e, Gorn's men found the chieftain of Ai Ursa hiding in the tunnels beneath the city. He was interrogated until he revealed the various hiding places of the remaining cultist combatants in the city. Not-Seen and Magisters were then dispatched to track down the last of the combantants, which took an additional two weeks.   On the 19th of Theandrar, the city was finally rid of the last of the cultist combatants, and was claimed for the Church.
