Kurdesh Falls to Yoto Sasumi

Forces lead by Yoto Sasumi arrive outside the gates of Kurdesh on the 28th of Protiae and begin constructing siege engines.   On the 30th of Protiae, Sasumi orders her forces to charge the walls of the city. Crucifers suffer heavy losses, nearly 1,000 men, before breaching the city walls. The battle inside the city lasts through the night.   On the 1st of Magus, early in the morning, Yoto Sasumi executes the chieftain of the city. Kurdesh signs itself over to the rule of the Church.
