The Wolfcats

A extremely rare race found traveling around in Korun

Extremely smart and talented and being able to polyforn to any medium sized creature at will the wolfcats are one of the most special wonders of Korun. There are very few surviving and they don't usually show their true form which is that of a somewhat large car with canine characteristics.

Basic Information

Genetics and Reproduction

They reproduce normally at any form they assume. If they mate with another wolfcat then they reproduce and have puppies. If a male wolfcat mates with a female of different species the clild will be of the mothers race but will inherent randomly some of the fathers powers. Male wolfcats leave the child to grow up with the mother in such cases and make sure that it will be alright. If a female wolfcat mates with another species then the child will be a wolfcat but will loose some of the races talents , usually the ones found in the father.

Growth Rate & Stages

Wolfcats come of Age approximately 1 year after they are born. At this age they are completely ready to reproduce and survive alone. By this age the are separated from their parents and start their own path. There is no sing of aging after that besides physical scaring. Wolfcats have never been seen to die of old age although there are cases where a wolfcat that considers himself old ( above 900 years ) and is satisfied with his life will put an end to it.

Ecology and Habitats

The live scattered throughout the world but love to socialize with other species. The only case wolfcats come together is only with the other sex and only for mating and raising children. After the children come of Age they break apart. Due to small numbers wolfcats usually mate with the same mate throughout their lives but have many different companion from other species.

Dietary Needs and Habits

In need they can survive with very little sustenance. Their appetite is bases mostly on their mood. In times of blister they will be constantly hungry and eventually get chubby. In times of peril they can survive in almost abstinence lifestyle.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

They have great vision, smell and hearing and they are considered one of the wolds most intelligent species. Their character thought keeps them from gaining power. Male wolfcats are very spiritual and usually have psychic abilities they are all considered very calm and wise creatures. Female ones are physically exceptional but are more wild and more emotional.
