The Burning Citadel

A crumbling city made out of massive blocks of unmortared rhyolite, the Burning Citadel is located at the top of the Pass of Scale, 4,000 meters up the side of Mt. Tsur, a five-kilometer high stratovolcano. one of the oldest cities on Koru and dates back to before the Kataroth. It was originally a stronghold for a horde of Katşaska under the command of Surukaskarekramaş and later became the capital of the Korlish Empire. It is now the only remaining city loyal to the god-empress Surukaskarekramaş. The Burning Citadel gets its name from the canals of lava that travel through it, as well as the great braziers located throughout the city.
