Side Quest to: De La Beauté Sombre
Ashanti has sent you a sending (or Sending Stone) message. She tells you that the mountain town of De La Beauté Sombre is has been raided by Orcs.
This is a common accurance when the Orc Tribes of the Mountains look to gain refuge and take back the town in the valley. Normally these tribes of Orcs and Giants do not rage hell on the town. Every new War Chief believes the valley belongs to them and they come and raid the valley every year.
However, this is different. It is unknown what deal was made with the different mountain tribes but the Orcs and Hill Giants have banded together and have begun to raid the village.
No one is safe, the Duke Janos is dead and his family cannot befound. The Kingdom of Jua is refusing to send troops and aid because this is a yearly occuance and they believe the town has been able to defend themselves for this long, this is the normal yearly raid.
As of now, there are 50 citizens in the village. There are only 12 town guard out of these 50 citizens.

Plot points/Scenes
The Orc Invasion
2 guards are retreating. There are Orcs, Ogres, and Hill Giants taking the city. You hear sounds of screaming and fire burning. Everything these Orcs are doing is looting all of the house, carrying out a lot of stuff of mundane value but they are also killing anyone who gets in their way.The Orcs have pillaged this part of the village and are going into town. 5 Bbuildings are one fire.
BUILDING #1:
PERCEPTION CHECK (Inside DC 10) (Outside DC 15) 5 Halfings. Father, Mother, 3 Kids, 2 girls and a baby boy, who is crying.
The roof of the house is engulfed in flames. The building will collapse in 2 turns. There are only three bedrooms. The entire family minus the baby are in the living room huddled up as the front door is on fire and they are enclosed in flames.
Entering into the house, make a DC 15 Con Save. On a fail take 2d6 smoke damage and spend a round coughing and choking. One a success take 1d6 smoke damage but you can continue moving.
BUILDING #2
Perception Check (Inside DC 10) (Outside DC 15): Fail you hear nothing. Success, you notice a mother and 3 kids trapped inside the house.
2 Bedroom house. Living room. The front door is blocked. The back door is hot but open.
The house will collapse in 4 turns.
Building #3
Perception Check (Outside DC 10) (Inside DC 12) Running out of the building.
No one is inside but there is a chest.

Perception Check (Inside DC 10) (Outside DC 15): Fail you hear nothing. Success, you see a half-giant baby screaming and crying. His parents dead on the ground. Fire surrounding the building.
The house will collapse on the child in 2 turns.
both the front and back doors and stuck. STRENGTH CHECK DC 18 (unless player has Strength higher than 18) needed to bust through the door. Take 2d6 bludgeoning damage.
The baby is in the center of the room.
Con/Dex Save DC 17 for falling debris. One a fail take 3d10 on a Success take half.
After Saving Everyone
You have saved in total 10 people in total. Hopefully. The Halfling Father says thank you for taking care of them but he has no idea were they can go? This is the worst this attack has ever been.They will be heading into town. The War Chief needs to be defeated, that is normally what has stopped the raids in the past.

As you walk along this road, you come across a traveling band of musicans. They offer you a tune for your travels. They headed to DE LA SOL. Thieves pay the best. a glowing review, you will recieve their autograph - which in Chapter 7 will get you into one of their shows.
Upon not having the answer a fight ensues (A Rouge, A Barbian, and A Ranger. All 2 levels LOWER than the party.) However the Mole seems to be unkillable.
The mole says to you - you have made a grave mistake attacking me. I was never born and thus I cannot die. The evils of the world will hear of this day and lay waste to your band of ruffins. This realm is new to me. I like it, and once I ascend, I will comeback to kill this entire relm in service for the GREAT EVILS.
The Market Place
You reach the market place. It is over run with 12 Orcs and 2 Ogres. NO WAR CHIEF.
The Neighborhood

The City Guard are stopping the forward progression. They yell, "Don't let them take the temple. We must protect the new DUKE!
The Tavern
A small band of 10 Orcs led by the War Chief are here looking for Twix the next Duke. "When our leader dies we must kill the new one! Return the hammer!"Inside of the burning Tavern are 12 patrons, all adults. The ale is burning everything quickly. The tavern will burn down in 5 turns. Once the tavern burns down it will do 10d10 fire damage.
