History

Auroraan, a realm of both beauty and turmoil, has a storied past woven with threads of magic, tragedy, and royal intrigue. Founded centuries ago by the legendary King Aric, the kingdom flourished under his wise and just rule, its borders expanding to encompass lush forests, fertile plains, and majestic mountains.   However, the kingdom's tranquility was shattered by a tragic accident that claimed the life of King Aric and plunged Auroraan into chaos. His son, Cedric Thorncrest, ascended to the throne in the wake of his father's death, determined to uphold his legacy and restore stability to the realm.   But Cedric's reign was marked by strife and conflict, fueled by his deep-seated fear and resentment towards magic. As a child, Cedric had witnessed the devastating consequences of unchecked sorcery when his mother, Queen Isolde, accidentally caused a tragic accident that claimed King Aric's life. Blaming magic for the tragedy and haunted by the memory of his mother's powers, Cedric vowed to eradicate its influence from Auroraan once and for all.   Under Cedric's rule, harsh laws were enacted to suppress the practice of magic within the kingdom, with those who dared to wield its powers facing imprisonment or execution. His iron-fisted approach earned him the nickname "Ironheart" among his subjects, as he ruled with a stern resolve that brooked no dissent.   Yet despite his efforts to maintain control, Cedric's reign was marked by unrest and rebellion. Princess Evelina Nightshade, Cedric's own daughter and heir to the throne, was banished from Auroraan after her magic inadvertently caused another tragedy. Embittered and betrayed, Evelina swore vengeance against her father and the kingdom that had cast her out, gathering allies and forming an army known as The Shadow Legion.   Now, as tensions rise and the threat of war looms on the horizon, Auroraan stands at a crossroads. Will Cedric's iron will be enough to quell the forces of magic and rebellion, or will Princess Evelina's Shadow Legion succeed in toppling the kingdom and seizing the throne for themselves? Only time will tell as the fate of Auroraan hangs in the balance.
