Willow Bark Tea

This potion made from the ground-up bark of a willow tree allows the user to treat themselves more effectively.   A dose of Willow Bark Tea can help the imbiber quickly recover from damage by drawing on their own inner reserves to ignore damage and continue fighting on.
  • The character can spend one Hit Dice as if they are taking a short rest. The Hit Die spent in this way allows the player to roll the die and add the character’s Constitution modifier to it. The character regains hit points equal to the total (minimum of 0). The character regains the spent Hit Dice upon finishing a long rest, as per the rules.
A dose of Willow Bark Tea can help the imbiber overcome disease.
  • Gain advantage on saves versus disease.
A dose of Willow Bark Tea can reduce the effects of fatigue.
  • reduces one level of exhaustion per dose.

However, scholars have found similar formulas to the popularized process within many libraries and healer traditions throughout the Protectorate and even amongst the tribes of the Horde Lands.

The formula is now common enough that Alchemists have began selling it in every major city.

Ground-up willow bark is treated to extract key elements that are refined into a powder before it is added to a liquid and consumed.
Discovery
Druids have been adding it to healing potions for untold years. Recently, Artificers specializing in "Medicine" have discovered the extract and have been producing it.
