Where do we draw the line between curiosity and madness? That is the question one might ask when meeting Kronkus. Cast out of the divine realm over his vile 'games', he was imprisoned in the caverns beneath Strutholm by his mother Audra for his role in The Fulgurite War.

To feed into his curiosity, Kronkus decided to bring on someone who could do his bidding on the outside, an avatar some might call it. How? You might ask. It's quite simple: you create one. The only thing he had to do was find someone who would carry his creation. For this, he found a young woman: Freya d'Arcy.
Freya and her husband Yehuda had been praying for a child for years when one of Kronkus' disciples came to visit them. A man dressed in glorious midnight blue robes promised them the gift of fertility. By performing a short ritual, he would bless them in the name of his god and make their dreams come true. The young couple was ecstatic with the thought of finally being able to expand their family. Unbeknownst to them, Yehuda would never be the one to father the child.
