Tatanya is originally from a small human settlement in the heart of Kelkanor. Not much is known of her early life, she has put it behind her. What is known is her time as a vampire.
Tantanya spent years across the shattering sea in unknown lands training her magics and feeding off anyone she wanted to. She met with strange cults who worshipped dark gods, she researched in libraries of unrivalled knowledge and had affairs with kings and queens of empires so vast they stretched from coast to coast.
Her latest adventure began when she heard rumours of a man who had roamed her homeland a man who walked in the shadows and drank the blood of his enemies. She knew that a vampire whose rumours had reached the far shores of Phobos had to be quite impressive and Letting her intrigue get the better of her she sort out this vampire wanderer.
After years of searching he found him, she presented herself to him at his Castle and she fell infatuated with him, his charm warmed her long dead heart. And she even had a child with him.
Scylla was an abomination born under a blood moon in a dark ritual that her lover; Strahd, had prepared in secret to resurrect his unborn child. When Strahd saw Scylla he attempted to slay her but Tatanya intervened and managed to flee with her daughter. While on the run she decided to hide her daughter away in an old temple of Cernunnous. Tatanya headed east to find a boat that would take them to Auora but was tracked by agents of the inquisition and staked to the Gulthias tree in the sunless citadel, where she laid bound to the tree until recently were a band of adventurers accidentally freed her spirit allowing it to reform.

Tatanya wishes to be able to raise her daughter in safety from the many entities that would harm a vampires and her spawn. She is aimed at slaying her ex lover who is the greatest threat to her however, she wishes to do so in a way that would allow her to usurp his lordship and take control of his undead horde.
