Godspeaker
Godspeakers are mysterious, powerful entities who have turned away from society to follow in the path of their deity.
They were once mortal, now infused with divine essence and sharing a unique bond and powers that no one else can possess.
Few know of this title, but if they know they know aggravating a godspeaker is one of the many glorious ways you can get yourself killed, or a minimum, badly maimed. It's a rather small spectrum.
Qualifications
To become a Godspeaker, you have to go through years of training and hope a speaker-less Deity notices you. Then you must forge an incredibly strong bond with the deity, and survive them giving you a small amount of their power. Once this is done, you have successfully become a Godspeaker.
Requirements
Those with more mana are more likely to survive the deity's power, therefore having a large mana pool is recommended. At least some spellcasting ability is required.
Responsibilities
Godspeakers must stay in solitude, without distractions so they can commune and control the deity's powers. They also can serve as a vessel for when the god needs to make in-person contact but cannot use their deific form.
Benefits
Godspeakers are immortal (Although they can be killed) and share powers with their god, and can gain abilities beyond that mortals can achieve such as creating massive illusions, the ability to morale, and summoning storms at will.
Accoutrements & Equipment
All godspeakers have a necklace carrying their borrowed divine essence. This changes color and shape depending on the god, however they all glow softly in the dark.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
There are two ways a godspeaker can be released.
First method: die.
Second method: Have divine essence taken out of the necklace, sometimes resulting in the death of the godspeaker.
