The Breaking of the Faith, and the Warning of the Three Gods

Strange visions begin to plague the priests and commoners faithful to the gods of the The Tetrarchy of Faith , while the nobility of the lands in further East, on the other side of the Stormsea.

It began with a Starfall that was seen in the night sky, all over Karash. The Axtalany peoples believed it was a sign of the Serpent Gods, sharing Starry Wisdom to those with the Arcane Sight, while many of the academics of the recently formed Academy were sure it may have been a surge in the Embers of Magic, particularly of the Fires of Divination.   But, in the lands of Akarna, in the kingdoms of Malbellón and Rossette, prophets from the Tetrarchy began to appear, heralding the end of the lands, unless the nobility and the higher priests of the Tetrarchy turned away from debauchery and excess, and lived in poverty. On Malbellón, these prophets were met with fire and death, while the nobles of Rossette merely ignored the rabble.   The number of people falling into what priests called "Divine Ecstasy" eventually made the priests second-guess their initial reaction to their faithful, and commended a group of Church Inquisitors to take matters into their own hands, and investigate the source of this sudden rise of religious uproar
