The New Crimson Flame, and the rekindling of the Crusade

Political event

After days of reconvening, a priest of the Silver Queen, Amber du Cuthbert, is proclaimed as the new Crimson Flame. A month later, Amber claims to have found a relic of Aragon el Navegante, and with it, a vision of a Shadow rising from the north; a Crusade is called to advance towards the The Northlands.

After the Council of Arascó, a quorum was made that the new Crimson Flame of the Tetrarchy of Faith would be a priest of the old country, a man named Amber du Cuthberth. His silver staff was melted, and mixed with gold and Iron to make his Chain of Many, and his old robes replaced with the robes of the Crimson Flame. However, he declined any celebration or pomp, instead he asked only to be proclaimed by town-criers instead.   During a ceremony in Santaterra, several months after, he revealed a book he claimed to be from Aragon el Navegante, and it proclaimed that the Northlands were conspiring against them; and that it was someone from the Northlands that had caused the terrible Sanguinary Wars. He called to take up arms and retake the cause of the Crimson Crusade to cleanse the northlands from this corruption, and in their fervent devotion, the people responded. In the night, several diplomats from the northlands quietly escaped the Crimson Lands.   A day after, everyone was crafting their weapons and banners, and soon soldiers from the Crimson Lands, mercenaries from the The Valley Princes, and even some converts from the Valley marched towards war.
