Harami desert

This is the only desert in all of the inhabitable part of the planet. It’s a giant plain of sand and rocks hundreds of kilometers long. The temperatures are high day and night due to numerous volcanoes and earthquakes. It’s hard to tell when is the day and when is the night due to the entire desert being under the shadow of Wakusei’s rings. 
This desert is the territory of numerous beasts and animals like Sōya or Sabakuho. Because of this, the high temperatures and the lack of water the desert is one of the most dangerous locations in all of Kayūchi. 
Years ago, this desert was part of the great empire of Kiyōne. Due to the Great War, the region has become a wild territory with no ruler or empire. Rebel settlements have been appearing in the borders of this land.
