Mishra, Guardian of the Hearth

Description: Mishra’s form is that of a middle-aged sultry woman with blue motes for irises. She carries a plain satchel and a silver Sickle and wears simple peasant garb. A crown of thorns sits atop her head and her feet are always bare. One of the oldest gods, Mishra is good, but has a darker side to her. Dalliances in the deep past with Shakara produced Mythantis for whom she still cares for, although they oppose each other in the pantheon. She usually follows her sister Shinhalla’s lead, but keeps her own counsel. She believes Dolan to be too rash, but has eyes for his son Remantil. Mishra rarely creates an avatar, preferring to work through her priests and followers.
Church Organization: The organization of Mishra’s followers is centered in Darlinia but is widely worshipped in the Silent Marches as well. A “mother” heads each local cell, which consists of six to fifteen members. The organization is light on hierarchy but loyal and faithful.
