Mirth, the Laughing Dancer
Description:
Mirth, of all the gods, is the most intrigued by mortal life, and constantly spies on her chosen. She appears as an attractive young faun. A pair of rams horns protrudes from her head and she always carries her dagger, Firna, and her enchanted harp. Mirth has few clerics, but many bards pay, at least, halfhearted homage to her. Mirth loves to use magic, especially illusions and enchantments. They are merely toys to her, not a serious art as it is to Mythantis. Mirth plays pranks on all of the gods, but targets Remantil in particular, as Mirth views him as too stiff and serious. Eventually the two fell in love and had two god-children: Turnoc and Calista.
Church Organization:
Mirth’s followers have almost no organization whatsoever. Leaders are chosen based on their bardic performances. There are no true temples to Mirth, only small shrines. Many of these are located in the basement or back rooms of prominent inns.
