Kampos
The known world consists of one continent along with some archipelagos along the coasts. Among those who have a such a grand worldly view, it is called Kampos, after the fallen empire of the same name.
Maps are rare and imprecise, and knowledge about the wider world is marginal among commoners. Most have not been far outside the village they were born in.
The climate gets colder the further south one travels.
Kampos as of today consists of kingdoms, republics, autonomous city-states, sovereign merchant houses, knightly orders, anarchistic confederations, nomads and a plethora of other factions in a continuous dance of alliances and conflicts. There are few if any firmly established borders, and travel between bastions of civilization is hard and dangerous.
