History
The Garyan Empire was originally founded by Wulf Garya. Over the years, the empire has conquered many new lands, expanding from a single city into the largest empire in the world.
Territories
The majority of the Garyan Empire is in the Northern half of Untarland. The Garyan Empire also controls Ostia and New Garya, although both are more recent acquisitions.
Military
The Garyan Empire’s military is one of if not the most powerful militaries in the world. It has the largest naval fleet and has access to more advanced technologies than many other nations.
Religion
The Garyan Empire is relatively open in regards to religion. Citizens are free to worship whatever deities they wish, but worshiping evil deities is outlawed. Individuals who are found worshiping evil deities are usually imprisoned and conditioned to worship other deities.
Foreign Relations
The Garyan Empire has a very friendly relationship with Floenia. The empire provides Floenia with some naval defense and access to various metals. In exchange, Floenia gives the Garyan Empire glass and wine.
Agriculture & Industry
The Garyan Empire is primarily agricultural with massive farming towns scattered throughout the empire.
Trade & Transport
The Garyan Empire primarily transports trade goods on boats. When travel over land is necessary, the Garyan Empire has large networks of dirt roads spanning most of its territories.

The Garyan Empire typically uses a series of coins made of different materials for its currency. In order of least to most valuable: Chips (copper), Leaves (Silver), Scales (gold), and Crowns (platinum)
Major Exports
The most prominent exports of the Garyan Empire are lumber, wheat, fish, and common ores such as iron and copper. Some regions of the Garyan Empire also export various animal products including furs, meat, and bones.
Major Imports
The Garyan Empire does not have great access to the resources required to produce more advanced technology. Because of this, the Garyan Empire has to import these technologies from other nations. The Garyan Empire also imports large quantities of more luxury goods such as glass, silk, and wine.
Legislative Body
The emperor has nearly limitless power and creates most of the laws of the Garyan Empire. He has many advisors, however, who contribute to his decisions and often are the ones who recommend new laws. On a smaller scale, local leaders typically have the power to make laws that only affect their city/region.
Judicial Body
Within the Garyan Empire there is a branch of the military that consists of city guards/watches and judges. The city watch enforces the law in the streets while judges make more complicated decisions on the interpretation of the laws.
