Demographics

Machine Town has a very diverse population, although dwarves and gnomes are more prominent. Nearly everyone who lives in Machine Town is a part of The (Industrial) Revolution.

Government

There is not a full government that runs Machine Town. Instead, the town is run by The (Industrial) Revolution and its leaders.

Defences

Machine Town is built against a large cliff in The Crimson Wastes. The remainder of the perimeter is surrounded by a large, metal wall with automated cannons scattered across it. The city is also hidden by a masssive mirage.

Industry & Trade

Since nearly every citizen of Machine Town is a member of The (Industrial) Revolution it survives by the export of new technology and machines created by Industrialists. Machine Town primarily imports various crafting materials through a small trading outpost about a mile away from the main town.

Infrastructure

The entirety of Machine Town is covered in highly advanced machines and infrastructure. There is a very advanced sewer, a fully functional electrical system, and a water system spanning the entire town. Their are also numerous sky ports and garages across the town.

Machine Town has access to almost any materials and technologies imaginable.

Guilds and Factions

Machine Town’s “guilds” are actually the different branches of The (Industrial) Revolution. The most influential of these are the Alchemists, Warriors, and Drivers.

History

Machine Town was built from the ground up by Jadora and Lokug Stoneheart as a base of operations for The (Industrial) Revolution.

Architecture

The majority of Machine Town is composed of ramshackle buildings that are put together using whatever was available. This was done to fit the asthetic that Jadora and Lokug Stoneheart wanted when the built the town. Despite their appearances, the buildings are very sturdy.

Geography

Machine Town is built on a small hill that butts against a rocky cliff. It is located in The Crimson Wastes about 100 miles from The Demon Spires. The nearest source of water is a large underground reservoir.

Natural Resources

There is a large mine built into the cliff that provides Machine Town with access to many common resources. Their are also large farms built around the edges of Machine Town that are almost entirely controlled by machines. An underground reservoir provides the town with access to fresh water.
