Facial characteristics
Tabaxi have the facial features of cats. In Kalpurn, these resemble housecats but the features grow more exotic the further west one goes. Reshkai tabaxi have long faces and short ears, occasionally with manes or spotted skin. Tetonac tabaxi have large ears and sleek, striped fur.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Tabaxi live in extended family groups in the forests of Kalpurn and Tetonac. While normally content to stay within their forest hideouts, they are occasionally gripped by a wanderlust that drives them away from their families. They seek out other families and, in this way, they are kept diverse. But the same drive that pulls them away from their families can push them on to even greater adventure. A tabaxi passing through a large city may catch the glint of gold or hear a whispered secret and be hooked. Drawn away from the domestic forest life and into a whirlwind of insatiable curiosity, constantly looking for the next thrill or the next prize. These tabaxi become adventurers to the core.
