Reshkai Plains

Geography

The Plains is several thousand square miles of grassland and small rivers. Much of the land around the edges has been cultivated but a lot is unexplored. The hardy grass covers a layer of sand, gravel, and clay, not much good for farming without magical aid. Around the centre, where most of the rivers run, the grass can grow up to 8 feet tall. On a clear day, Mt Jorhel offers an unparalleled view of the Plains.

Fauna & Flora

The grass that covers most of the plains is very hardy, growing in the weak soil. It is resistant to most extreme weather and relies on the local fauna to spread. Mammoths and giant elk, as well as smaller species, roam the plains and are hunted by the Reshkai people and orc tribes. Red, grey, and brass dragons live in the grassland and blue dragons live along the coast. At least one tribe of giants live in the deep grasses.
