Moradin, God of the Forge

Moradin is the god of the forge, craftsmen and artisans. One of the first gods to create a follower race, he taught the Dwarves to hide from the Primordials and giants underground, and how to give value to what they found there. The thought of Moradin inspires stoicism and strength over good relationships with others, which some dwarves take to an extreme. However, during his time on the world, he was known for his good nature and his love of drink and music. Priests of Moradin promote a balance between work and leisure. He does not require direct acts of worship, as anything crafted from stone or metal by a Dwarf is done in his name, though it is tradition for Dwarven inns to have a tankard of ale or mead poured at the start of a night and set aside in case he visits.
