Dwarf

Dwarves are slow, industrious and hardy. Long lives and tough bodies make them ideal for large scale work like mining or building, although they take their time and are meticulously careful. Dwarven construction and craft very rarely needs repairs. Many dwarves do not take well to city life as roughly half are nocturnal by nature and catering this lifestyle to the other races around them does not come easily. They are rare in southern human settlements but common in the north, especially in the city of Ragavan, which is built underground in a well-ordered network through the mountains. Human towns with a high dwarven population tend to become nocturnal themselves, which can come as a shock to southern travellers.
