Ktavama

Ktavama is the name of the the people of the second largest continent can agree to call it when addressing foreigners. Each of the ethnic groups that inhabit the continent has a different name for it, but Ktavama is the common name for it across all of them. It’s name is one of the few remaining reminants of the civilizations from the previous era, with that name being a reminder to the natives of a long last empire.

Geography

Ktavama is a hot and dry mass, with many areas of the continent getting very little rain all year. Many parts of the land are caked with sand and covered by rolling dunes are far as the eye can see, and much of the rest is grasslands that can be equally as dry. These savannas stretch across two horizons, so some stories say, and it certainly feels that way, as adventurers tell tales of how they would get lost for years on end as the savannas seem to just go on forever. In center and southern central regions of the continent are jungles that are so wet they may as well be swamps and so dense to hack through the undergrowth is like mining through a mountain.

Natural Resources

Ktavama is rich to some and poor to others: while there are plenty of resources to support a massive abundance of animals and people, most of the precious resources are controlled by a few kingdoms and small empires, while the practical resources, such as food, are free to the tribes.
Ktavama is warm and dry, although the center regions are wet and humid. These regions have plenty of lumber and fruits, as well as many types of gems hidden in the ground.
