Korgosht
Geography
Korgosht is a giant grassland in the center east of Kadagard and it stretches to the deep center of the continent. The northern reaches are called the "Cool Grass", dry steppes intermixed with scrubland, while the southern parts are the "Green Sea", a cool prairie dotted with wildflowers. The whole of the plains is rugged and hilly, with a few flat places here and there. The southern prairie has more rivers than the north, additionally. The grasses that stretch across the land create a magnificent landscape that takes the breaths of many who witness it.
Fauna & Flora
The Korgosht plains are dominated by grass, of many varieties. The northern grasses are short, only approaching the ankles at the highest. Many types of shrubs and bushes are also found, but they're few and far between. These tend to provide many a tuber for those who cannot hunt. The southern grasses are taller, but still only approach the hips at most. Many colorful wildflowers are found on the prairie, such as dandelions, daffodils, yarrow, leadplants, columbines, larkspur, larch, Edelweiss, and tiger irises. Unique to the prairie Thunderfoot Flowers, a plant known for its unique biology and coloration. There are patches of open forests, with small berry bushes, especially along the rivers.
Wild animals move around often, migrating with the seasons. Aurochs are common on the plains, as are wild horses, known as tarpan, and onagers. Mammoths once roamed the plains, but they have long since vanished. Many ground birds are found on the plains, primarily various grouse, quails, and ptarmigans, as well as several types of mammals, from rabbits, moles, and marmots, to minks, foxes, and lynxes. Large predators include wolves, Cockatrices, and Barghests: wolves hunt all manner of prey, cockatrices chase after small animals, and barghests ambush the massive beasts. A bird known as a Turul is also endemic to the plains, preying on anything from marmots to saiga antelope.

Natural Resources
In terms of resources, Korgosht is incredibly barren: there is little stone or wood for materials, not many flat locations near for farming, and hardly any iron, meaning weapons must be traded. As a result, the real value the land offers is pasture for herders, which is most often how it is utilized. Otherwise, the people who live here take advantage of the massive abundance of animals for food, skins, and bones, as well as gathering the plants they grow there.
