The Inflection Point

The Mizlovacks of Sparr were the first to discover the Inflection Point. At the time they did not know what they found, but on an expeditions sent by the Joint Exploration Initiative, one of the explorers noticed that his compass needle spun in confusion when he took a step too far. The next step resulted in the calming of the needle.
He discussed the discovery with the lead Expeditioneer and after more research they discovered a magnetic anomaly at the point the explorer observed the compass spinning. The Mizlovacks would never truly comprehend what they just discovered until much later on in time when they fully map the magnetic anomaly.
In reality, the Inflection Point is the exact point where a Void Rift connects the worlds of Kalder and Sparr. The connection allows an individual to step seamlessly from Sparr into Kalder, and vice versa. That is, of course, if they can survive the intense amounts of magic radiation the Rift itself produces.
