Amular (am-yoo-lar)

Amular is the northeastern kingdom of Primor. The lands of Amular is said to be full of magic and wonders. Others wonder where anything is. Outsiders see a barren wasteland that has a single stretch of fertile land. It was not always this way.   Powerful magic from the Crescent Cabal had laid waste to the once green fields of Amular. These magicks had won the war against mighty dragons who had at one time coveted the power hidden within the Lunar Citadel.

Gazetteer
Amular is mainly a barren wasteland. rocky crags with a few rivers flowing through them and a fertile stretch of land between two main river systems.   just north of Kalamoon's Blackmoor and Blackwood regions lies a plain with sandy and marshy soil. The Crystal Mire as it is known as, is mainly marshland with sandy plains. The Mooram River feeds into The Crystal Mire from its eastern head in the Lyfe Mountain flowing through the Blackwood of Kalamoon. It is said that the Whispering Well was once found here, an ancient well that dates back to the ancient kingdom that whispers strange secrets of their people in a language long lost. In this region the ruins of River of Myths, Village of the Lost, and the Village of Death can be found.   The Unwelcoming Prairie surrounds the area of The Crystal Mire and extends all the way to the Azure Sea. This area makes the southern third of Amular. A sandy plain with rocky outcroppings and sparsely vegetated that has little to no waterflowing through it. It is here in the sparsely populated lands where most of the fighting between Amular and the monstrous hordes of the Lyfe Mountains takes place. It is here that the ruins of The Oblivion Town, The Remnant Farms, The Neglected Shore, Village of Crumbles, Outpost of Residue, The Fragmented City, The Skull Village, and Outpost of Ends can be found.   The central third of Amular is the fertile lands of the Amul Plains. the Amul Plains is heavily farmed due to its use of irrigation from the two rivers, Keelterel River to the north and the Wasafil to the south. The large city of Amular itself, the capitol of Amular, can be found in this region. It is here that the Crescent Citadel can be found. Past Amular, the Keelterel River becomes a canal that is used to transport goods to the Azure Sea.   North of the Keelterel River lies the Burned Frontier. A desert with craglands, created by the burning magicks of the ancient kingdom. The Dragonfel Wastes is a rocky cragland that became the final resting place of many dragons during the time of the ancient kingdom. The Blood Sands is a desert that extends across the entire northlands of Amular. Before it became a scorched wasteland, it was a massive battlefield that had minotaur ships land on the coast and unleash a wave of monsters upon the land during the reign of the ancient kingdom. No one knows what destructive magic was used to destroy this wave of monsters and had scorched the land for the past thousand years. Here the ruins of Shore of Emptiness and Village of Smoke can be found.
