Cado'i
Cado'i is the imperial pronunciation of the Kee word Kadjoi.
Kadjoi is a type of seaweed commonly eaten in Kee society, it is hearty, filling, and of excellent texture (if just a bit slimy). It can be eaten on it's own in several ways, cut into strips and eaten like noodles, or dried into a sort of jerky. It doesn't have much flavor on it's own just a mild salty taste, but it takes flavor from other ingredients very well (tastes like chicken). It is water proof when un-torn and the Kee also use it for hand foods. (think a cross between a hand-pie and onigiri)
Dishes made with Cado'i have become popular in Watch-keep in recent years as trade with the Kee merchants has become more common in Tsoren's Harbor
