The Veneto incineration

The conclusion of the war between armies of Venice and the united mountain alliance. Sparing noone, a dragon swooped down and blasted both armies to ash.

The incineration happened just as both armies clashed into each other. The dragon Vadiess swooped down from the mountains, giving very little time for any reaction. Several human survivors claim that they saw him and ordered retreat, but it was too late. The dragon spared no one as it flew over the combat and spewed fire across everybody. Destruction was quick and while the armies scattered, the dragon burned some of them but wasted no time in getting back into the mountains. He flew back up to the dragonborn city where the red dragonborn were already conducting a mass murder also known as Thousand red blades.   Immediately the dragon jumped from one cave entrance to another and spewed fire into them, killing most of the dwarves living in the city. All but one tunnels were also demolished and the last one was to be used as a way out into the world.   The tragic event impressed the magic wind of destruction and it infused the dragon with its force as a reward.
