The men of old

An old and extinct race of men from old times. Unlike the name implies, they are much closer to the giants and ice giants than to humans. Most of them lived in kingdoms underground servings gods of old.

Anatomy

Men of old stood at about 3 and a half meters high and their bones were much denser than human's.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Due to their living underground, their stomachs got used to eating raw mushrooms and spidermeat.

Civilization and Culture

History

Not much is known about their beginnings. It is known that they formed great kingdoms, some of which are still left standing underground. Their final demise came at hands of one of them, the ice giant Winus .

Hates sunlight: During midday their senses are lowered (reduce passive and active perception by 2) and their abilities are hindered (-1 to ability checks). Doesn't apply underground or inside buildings with darkened rooms.
