9 Redroot

Name: Redroot   Descendant of: Redgi   Description: It has two main types of tissue, it's cord-like tendrils and it's cloudy vegetative tissue. The cord-like tendrils are mainly for grip and growth-based movement but are also hollow and draw up any freely available nutrients (of which there isn't much, but some). The tendrils sprout new vegetative and sporing tissue as they spread out from their point of origin (a spore embryo). The tendrils mainly move along surfaces, gluing themselves to hard rocks. This allows them to reach places that other plants get kept away by currents.   Reproduction: It reproduces by growth and fragmentation (clones) but will ocasionally produce asexual spores.   Food: Photosynthesis   Ocean Locations: 2 (Coast) Land Locations: 1 (Coast), 2 (Coast), 3 (Coast)
