Description: A simple fungus-like organism that decomposes and drinks up detritus with a mycellial network in deeper water microbial mats and biofilms, and where exposed to the open water produce triplet fruiting bodies. Produces it's own antibacterial compounds.
Reproduction: Fruiting bodies cast off spores to the sea. Spores can be sexual or asexual. Spreading of mycellium.
Food: Deposited organic detritus
