Name: Sponphage
Description: A simple fungus-like organism that lives in the bodies of spongill and some of it's descendants. They specialize in decomposing the waste of the spongill, but also overtake it and clog it up, causing disease and death of the spongill organism it infests. They appear as a fine green velvety fuzz invading the gills and slag piles of the spongill.
Descendant of: Cufungus
Reproduction: Fruiting bodies cast off spores to the sea. Spores can be sexual or asexual. Spreading of mycellium.
Food: Spongill waste (parasite)
